North Sea Seafood is located in Bergen, Norway.  The company belongs to a fourth-generation family-run business that has been in the fish industry for over 100 years.

The Fjellskaal family pioneered salmon exports in 1909 with the first export of smoked and salted salmon to the USA. In 1976 they made their presence known at the historic Bergen Fish Market. Throughout the years additional fish restaurants and smoking houses have been added.

The company North Sea Seafood was established for the purpose of trading seafood products, and today we trade Atlantic salmon and Trout to over 44 countries worldwide. 

North Sea Seafood collaborates closely with selected Norwegian farmers and processors, producing premium Atlantic salmon and Trout in the cold, crystal-clear waters of the Norwegian coastline. Sustainability, consistent quality, and food safety are fundamental, with the highest standards applied throughout the entire value chain.   

Certified according to MSC, ASC, GlobalG.A.P., and Debio (organic) standard, North Sea Seafood offers full traceability and all required documentation. We are committed to delivering reliable service and value, and we actively seek long-term partnerships to grow and develop each market together.
